Graber, Banman marry
Jana Graber of Overland Park and Nathan Banman of Lawrence were married June 22, 2002, at University United Methodist Church in Topeka with Rev. Charles Benton officiating.
The bride is the daughter of the Reverends Michael and Sharlan Graber. The groom is the son of Keith and Barb Banman of Goessel.
The bride wore a princess cut spaghetti strap dress with a medium length ivory train in an embroidered flower/vine pattern. She carried a bouquet of Virginia roses.
Gloria Graber of Topeka, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Aaron Banman of Canton, brother of the groom, was the best man.
Ushers were Randall Adrian of Butterfield, Minn., and Mark Sanderson of Topeka.
Musicians were Elaine Wellsborn of Topeka, pianist; and Tim Timmons of Shawnee, Matthew Crandall of Topeka, and Nate Jorgensen of Olathe, saxophonists.
Guest book attendants were Aaron and Amy Townsend of Johnstown, Ohio. Emily Duarte-Heideman and Jessica Heideman were in charge of the gifts.
A reception was held at the church. Hosts were Sue Stevens of Florissant, Mo., Janet Rogers of Pretty Prairie, Barbara Banman of Topeka and Sonya Wright of Topeka.
After a honeymoon cruise to Key West, Fla., and Cozumel, the couple is at home in Lawrence.
The bride is a graduate of Washburn University and the University of Missouri at Kansas City. She is the choral director for Turner Middle School and High School, USD 202, in Kansas City, Kan.
The groom is a graduate of Washburn University. He is a case manager for Family Service and Guidance Center in Topeka.
