Grace Hill
Grace P. Hill, 85, McPherson, died May 22, 2008.
Born July 23, 1922, at McPherson, she was the daughter of Paul William and Lena (Schroeder) Heidebrecht.
She was a homemaker and worked for a local phone company for a few years.
On Oct. 17, 1943, she married Lawrence Hill at McPherson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Marsha Lynn Hill and Cynthia Ann Hill; and a grandson, James Michael Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence of McPherson; son, Michael Hill of Hutchinson; sister, Rachel Sutterfield of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two brothers, Herb Heidebrecht of McPherson and Paul Heidebrecht of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; three grandsons; and five great-grandsons.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at the First Presbyterian Church, McPherson with the Rev. H. Dick Reynolds Jr. officiating.
Burial was in Crestwood Memorial Park Cemetery, New Gottland.
Memorial funds have been established with First Presbyterian Church, McPherson, or Hospice Care of Kansas, in care of Glidden-Ediger Funeral Home, McPherson.
