Guhr to celebrate 90th birthday years ago
Marie Guhr will celebrate her 90th birthday from 2-5 p.m. July 17 at Kidron Bethel community room, 3011 Ivy Drive in North Newton. Guhr's family will host a reception in her honor.
She married Henry Guhr of Lehigh, where they lived until his death in 1995. She has four children: Leon Guhr and wife Virginia of Moundridge; Wanda and husband Jeff Justesen of Hartford, Conn.; Rita and husband George Rogers of Newton; Royce and wife Marge Reeves Guhr of Independence. She has six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
