Hamms hold family reunion at county lake

Gordon Dalke was the honored guest at a birthday party on Saturday. Family attending were his wife Doris, Doug and Debbie Dick and boys of Hillsboro, Keven Dalke and boys from Overland Park, Sherilyn Nafsiger from Hesston, and Kendall and Carrie Heide and family of Wichita.
Agnes Steinert accompanied Randy and Jan Steinert of Wichita to Colorado where she spent some time with her daughter, Debbie Beard.
Sunshine Woody and Nathan from Morris, Okla., were Pearl Koch's weekend guests. Sunshine and Nathan are former Hillsboro residents.
Tim and Donna Diener, Emily, and Marissa attended the late Harry and Amanda Diener family reunion in Miracle Camp in Lawton, Mich., over last weekend. The Glen Diener family of Newton and the Bryce Kopper family from Garden City also attended. There were approximately 80 family members there.
Recent guests at the Virgil Oblanders were Gene Oblander, Julie Oblander, and Kamin and a friend, Janin Martin from Colorado.
This past weekend Virgil and Jean Oblander went to Aurora, Colo., and attended the 50th wedding anniversary for Dag and Nita Schlehuber. Jack and Treva Kerbs of Marion and Duane Klassen from Wichita also attended.
On Monday, Herb and Trudy Pankratz from Abilene visited Paul and Arlene Pankratz. On Friday, Elmer and Dorothy Seibel from Newton were their visitors.
Dr. Lloyd and Jill Harsch and boys from New Orleans, La., were weekend guests at the Tim Dieners. Dr. Lloyd was the guest speaker at First Baptist Church in Durham on Sunday morning. Jill brought special music. They came to Kansas for Dr. Lloyd to officiate at the Lancaster-Kuhlman wedding Saturday at First Baptist Church.
On Sunday afternoon, Paul and Arlene Pankratz attended the Eagle Scout Court of Honor honoring Andrew Pankratz at the Emmanuel Church in Abilene. Andrew is the son of Herb and Trudy Pankratz near Abilene and the grandson of the late Harry and Ruth Pankratz.
The Hamm family reunion was held Aug. 8 at Marion County Lake hall. Family members attending were: Eleanor Esau of McPherson; Wayne and Carol Ollenburger, Delbert and Carolyn Hamm, Duane and Shirley Hamm, Myron and Valorie Hamm and family, Oliver and Marcella Mohn, and Wilbur and Florence Hett, all of Hillsboro; Clayton and Wanda Hamm and Frances Kreutziger, all of Marion; Gus and Mildred Hamm of Tampa; Gaylord and Valeria Hamm of Durham; Jean Curtis Schodorf, Elfea Townsend and Lillian Dickens, Carolyn Townsend Siler, and Gib and Wilma Schwemmer, all of Wichita; Walter and Wilma Schwemmer of Newton; Evelyn Bradbury of Boulder, Colo.; Vickie Schwemmer and family and Eldon Schwemmer, all of El Dorado; and Raymond and Dorothy Schwemmer of Towanda.
