The Parkside resident council met Monday afternoon, and a discussion was held on the newly improvised dining plan.

Ron Freeman and Art Wiebe were the winners of the domino games played Tuesday afternoon. Refreshments were served.

A memorial was held for Otto Hiebert Wednesday afternoon. Vida Bartel brought special music. Peggy Brandt gave a devotional, and Dean Hiebert read the life sketch. Vanilla ice cream was served after the memorial.

Thursday afternoon Parkside presented a concert by Jonah Kliewer. Refreshments were served after the concert. The rich pure tones and the old folk hymn melodies and words will remain with us for some time.

Every Friday this month is Hat Day. Those wearing hats receive a treat. In the afternoon bingo games were called by Maryann Unruh. All players received a banana for participating. Fern Unruh, Joanne Foyle, and Rosalie Suderman were the blackout winners. The weekend quiz was delivered.

Theater popped corn was served Saturday afternoon, and the St. John Lutheran church of Tampa brought the Sunday afternoon service.
