HCMC charity golf tournament a success
The seventh annual Hillsboro Community Medical Center Charity Golf Classic was held Friday at Hillsboro Municipal Golf Course.
Fifteen teams participated in the four-person scramble. The team of Roger Flaming, Phillip Thiessen, Anthony Thiessen, and Doug Dick won the tournament.
Second place in the championship flight was the team of Rich Nickel, Jerold Vogt, Andy Friesen, and Mike Esau.
Proceeds from the classic will be used to purchase a new back-up generator for the hospital.
