HCMC radiology chief resigns
Dr. Radmila Radovanov of Wichita has been traveling to Hillsboro Community Medical Center twice a week since 1972 to serve as the facility's Radiologist. She interprets x-ray films and performs fluoroscopies (an x-ray used to examine the interior of the body).
Dr. Radovanov, a native of Belgrade, Yugoslavia, came to the United States in 1967. She attended medical school at the Medical University of Belgrade and did her residency there in Obstetrics/Gynecology. When she moved to Wichita in 1967, she did her internship and residency in Radiology at St. Francis Regional Medical Center. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology, a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, Kansas Medical Society, and Sedgwick County Medical Society.
She and her husband, Milan, an engineer at Cessna, have two daughters and one grandson.
January 31m 2002 will be Dr. Radmila Radovanov's last day as Chief of Radiology at Hillsboro Community Medical Center. The X-ray Department would like to extend its deepest gratitude and appreciation to Radmila for her years of dedicated service to HCMC. Her presence not only as the Radiologist, but also as a friend, will be dearly missed. We wish her well.
