Herbert Unruh
Herbert Unruh, 94, died April 16, 2004, at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.
Born Oct. 26, 1909, at Hillsboro, he was the son of John W. and Anna H. (Golbeck) Unruh.
He was a farmer and water plant supervisor for the City of Hillsboro.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bertha, in 1989.
On March 25, 1990, he married Fern Vogt at Hillsboro. He was a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Fern; a son, Jim Unruh of Wichita; stepson Jerold Vogt of Hillsboro; stepdaughter, Joanne Foyle of Emporia; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Hillsboro United Methodist Church with the Rev. R. Laney Kuhn officiating.
Burial was in Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery.
A memorial fund was established with the church.
