Hesston College announces spring honor students
Hesston College recently announced its spring 2005 academic honor listings.
Area students on the Dean's Honor Roll include Audra Christophel, Moundridge; Sonja Hefley, Marion; and Daniel Schmidt, Lehigh.
Area students listed on the Honor Roll are Jeremy Vogt and Karis Jost, both of Hillsboro.

earn degrees
Two area students recently graduated from Pratt Community College.
Scott Nuss, Hillsboro, received an associate of science degree; and Jacob Adkins, Marion, received an associate of applied science degree.

Four Marion County students recently earned associate degrees from Butler Community College, El Dorado.
Sri-chol Brown, Hillsboro, earned order of the purple honors and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa; Jennifer Abbott, Marion, earned order of the purple; Roberta Winter, Florence; and Ranita Brown and Sheri Lewis, Peabody.
Order of the purple honors are given to those students who compiled a 3.5 or higher grade point average. Phi Theta Kappa is an honorary and service program for students who have at least 12 hours and a 3.5 or higher GPA.
Cowley College names graduates
Cowley College, Arkansas City, has announced May 2005 graduates. Jessica Ratzloff, Lehigh, earned an associate of arts degree and Jessica Funk, rural Hillsboro, earned an associate of applied science degree.
