HHS actors receive 10 Jester awards years ago
The seventh annual Music Theatre of Wichita Jester Awards was May 23.
Twenty-nine shows produced by 27 Wichita area schools were judged. Hillsboro High School's fall production of "Seussical" was nominated for an award in 14 categories and won in 10 of them.
Winners were: Outstanding technical achievement, Chelsea Bebermeyer and Courtney Fast.
Outstanding lobby display, Caitlin Reimer.
Oustanding graphic design for playbill, David Vogel.
Outstanding supporting female, Maria Loewen.
Outstanding male lead, David Vogel.
Outstanding scenic design and outstanding direction, Lynn Just.
The cast of "Seussical" also won for outstanding small ensemble and outstanding overall production.
