HHS production 'Cinderella' starts Thursday night
A classic fairy tale comes to life tonight at the Hillsboro High School Auditorium.
Under the direction of faculty member David Clark, HHS students will perform Rogers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella" tonight and Saturday night at 7 p.m.
Tickets are reserved seating and cost $5 each. They're on sale at the high school office.
The title role of Cinderella is being played by senior Angie Claassen, with junior Derek Conrad as Prince Charming and senior Mandy Ratzloff as the wicked stepmother. Kelli Just, junior, is the fairy godmother.
Other cast members include: Nick Unruh, king; Aislin Conrad, queen; Adrian Bebermeyer, Portia; Lisa Suderman, Joy; Caleb Dirks, town crier; Peter Fast, captain of the guard; Luca Blackburn, chef; Mindy Munguya, steward; Laci Frantz, court tailer; Clinton Schneider, clumsy man.
The singers and dancers include Heather Stepanek, Kyle Kroeker, Allison Kunkel, Danielle Johnson, Robert Jost, Juanita Gibson, Emily Railsback, Kari Roble, Emily Bebermeyer, Anna Krich, Anne Ryding, Laura Lindsey, Luca Blackburn, Jenny Terrell, Katelin Unruh, Kirsten Cederberg, Marissa Diener, Cierra Ediger, Erin Wiebe, Dana Suderman, Neil Ollenburger, Dustin Harber, Andy Brubacher, Alan Yoder, Danny Yoder, Jared Fish, Jordan Allen, and Hope Darting.
