Residents enjoyed a time of coffee and oatmeal-carrot cake Monday morning. They played bingo in the afternoon. A discussion about the book "The Worst Hard Time" completed the afternoon.
A ride to Marion County Park and Lake Tuesday was enjoyed. Before supper, residents played card games.
Bible study was held Wednesday morning by Tampa Lutheran women and the Rev. Clark Davis who gave an Easter devotional. The women brought cookies for the residents. Bingo was played later in the afternoon.
An April birthday party was held Thursday afternoon to honor Elizabeth Ringering, Hannah Ollenburger, Keith Meljo, and Ernie Unruh. Those having April birthdays shared when they first learned to drive, how old they were when they had their first kiss, bought their first car, and when they got married. Fruity coconut cake roll was served for refreshments.
A movie with popcorn was enjoyed Saturday afternoon.
Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church was in charge of Sunday worship service.
