Residents planned activities for the month of July. They made plans to go out to eat at a local restaurant, shopping at local stores, enjoying homemade ice cream, and snapping green beans.

Kathy Fish from the Hillsboro Library came Monday to read about bicycles and other readings about summer. Residents played bingo in the afternoon. We continued reading our book about the Dust Bowl, "The Worst Hard Time."

Residents enjoyed cucumbers from their garden. Clara Bartel made a salad Friday from the fresh lettuce from the residents' garden.

Residents played "Deal or No Deal" Thursday afternoon. Top winner was Alma Rempel.

Pastor Roy Keller has led Bible study this past month. The residents have enjoyed the time of looking at Scripture and singing on Wednesday mornings.

Residents finished up the week by enjoying homemade ice cream. They also played "Deal or No Deal" again.

Hillsboro MB Church was in charge of the Sunday afternoon worship service.
