The week began Monday with singing and exercise. Hillsboro city librarian Cathy Fish read to residents in the morning.
We had a farewell party Monday afternoon for Gayla Ratzlaff. She will be greatly missed by co-workers and residents.
After the party, some residents made a trek downtown.
The Herbel family came Tuesday to play dominoes and sing.
Popcorn and soda was served before afternoon bingo.
Wednesday's activities included singing and exercise as well as hearing stories from Reader's Digest magazine.
In the afternoon we made pretzels.
We played a dice game Thursday morning. The men's bingo club met in the morning. We enjoyed ice cream. The ladies' Red Hat group met with Sandy Patterson, RN.
The week's activities ended Friday with exercise and singing. We had crossword club with juice or coffee.
Elizabeth Ringering observed her 101st birthday and residents helped celebrate.
