As the dog days of summer come to a close, residents of Hillsboro Long-term Care Unit enjoyed a summer treat of ice cream sundaes Aug. 24.
Prior to the treats, residents painted and enjoyed bowling. Bingo was played Tuesday afternoons.
Residents celebrated Bev Unruh's birthday Wednesday. John Ratzlaff played the piano a couple of times during the past two weeks.
The two hallways met the week of Aug. 27.
Some men gathered Friday morning for coffee and trivia. In the afternoon, a talent show and Karaoke was presented. Ernie Unruh, Ed Winter, Ruth Goentzel, and Anna Enns sang.
Pastor Shepherd brought the Bell family Thursday to sing for and share with residents.
