Residents had a great start to last week as Willie and Rodi Longnecker brought a music program for them Monday morning. Residents always look forward to them coming and singing once a year.

Residents played bingo in the afternoon.

Many residents had filled out absentee ballots so only a few went to vote at their wards. Residents talked about past elections in the afternoon. They watched a slideshow of Washington, D.C. They enjoyed a piece of "amended" cake.

Wednesday morning residents spent time praying and sharing about what they are thankful for during this season of Thanksgiving.

Residents, friends, and family gathered Wednesday afternoon to celebrate Virginia Frick's birthday. Virginia's friends, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Christiansen, Anna Mae Goertz, and her grandson Dale Mayfield joined her for the time of food and fellowship.

Mrs. Isaac's second graders came and spent some time with residents Thursday. The children brought their Teddy bears in celebration of the Teddy bear's birthday this month.

Several residents went for a ride Thursday. They planted paper whites in the afternoon to prepare for the holiday season.

Jane Vajnar came Friday morning and talked about fall and Thanksgiving. Residents spent the afternoon cracking nuts.

Residents played bingo Saturday afternoon. Two throws were given away after bingo. Residents' names were drawn out of the hat and Annabelle Bliss and Gordon Jaeger were the winners. A patriotic music video was shown after bingo in remembrance of Veterans Day.

The United Methodist church came and conducted the afternoon worship service.
