The residents played bingo on Labor Day. They played for candy bars.

Residents shared stories Tuesday about their life work. We talked about what made the jobs difficult and what they enjoyed. It was interesting to hear the many different jobs people had, from candling eggs to working in an X-ray department in a hospital. Many of our residents had spent more than 20 years in one job.

Residents learned to play Polish horseshoes Thursday afternoon.

Jane Vajnar came Friday morning and read a story about what we will leave behind for future generations. Residents discussed the legacy they will leave behind.

A birthday coffee was held Friday afternoon for Annabelle Bliss. Her birthday was Saturday.

Residents watched "Black Velvet," Saturday and enjoyed a bowl of popcorn.

Zion Lutheran Church was in charge of the Sunday worship service.
