Hillsboro LTCU: Egg on the sidewalk test unsuccessful

Residents of Hillsboro Community Medical Center Long Term Care Unit enjoyed seeing if they could fry an egg on the sidewalk on one of the recent hot days. It didn't fry.

The Red Hat Society met the afternoon of July 20. Sandy Patterson, RN, was in charge of the refreshments and program.

Kathy Fish was here to do some seasonal readings July 24. Residents enjoyed eating at McDonald's July 25.

The Bible study is continuing its study of the book of Phillipians. Residents made bookmarks this past week. They enjoyed watching a video about the Washington and Arizona state birds.

Homemade ice cream was enjoyed by all Friday.

First Baptist Church of Durham and St. John Lutheran Church have been in charge of afternoon worship services the past two Sundays.
