Hillsboro LTCU: Women prepare for salad supper
Residents have been out and about these past two weeks. Some of the residents took in the Memorial Day parade May 27.
The residents attended Memorial Day services in the park.
Several of the women made two salads for the mother-daughter salad supper May 25. The women of the home helped put flowers in the vases for decorations in the afternoon. The salad supper was held at 6:30 p.m.
A style show was the program. Models for the show were staff members Marion Regier, Pam Ratzlaff, and Gayla Ratzlaff. Resident models were Clara Bartel and Annabelle Bliss. Vicki Mohn, daughter of Dollie Blomquist also modeled and outfit.
Sharon Mueller led the Bible study Wednesday.
Residents enjoyed a trip to McDonald's May 31. Several enjoyed a ride in the van Tuesday.
Residents went Friday to the Hillsboro MB vacation Bible school program at the fairgrounds.
First Mennonite Church was in charge of the service May 28. Parkview MB Church was in charge of services this past Sunday.
