July 24 — Officer assisted the sheriff with locating a theft suspect. Officers responded to a business alarm. Officer responded to a juvenile problem in the 200 block of South Adams. Officer responded to a business alarm in Hillsboro Heights.
July 25 — Office responded to a business alarm in Hillsboro Heights. Officer arrested a missing juvenile for the Marion Police Department. Officer took a delayed battery complaint in the 300 block of South Birch. Report of a possible intruder in the 400 block of North Ash. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of North Lincoln. Officers served a protection from abuse order in the 300 block of South Birch.
July 26 — Officer assisted the ambulance in the 100 block of North Washington. Officers served a protection from abuse order in the 200 block of South Main. Officer checked local businesses in reference to House Bill 27 regarding the sale of pseudoephedrine anywhere other than a pharmacy. Officers of the Hillsboro Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff's office participated in a saturation patrol effort, focusing on illicit narcotic use within the city of Hillsboro.

Officer responded to a possible house fire in the 200 block of South Main. Officer delivered an emergency message in the 200 block of South Jefferson. Officer assisted with a possible drunk driver on U.S. 56. Noise complaint in the 500 block of South Adams. Camper hook up. 911 disconnect in the 500 block of East Grand. Officer assisted with fueling aircraft. Report of unruly subjects drinking and making noise at the motel.
July 30 — Dog complaint in the 200 block of North Madison. Officer assisted KHP with a non-injury accident and drunk driver in the 300 block of North Ash. Camper hook up. Dog complaint in the 300 block of North Ash.
