Aug. 1 — Officers served civil process for the city.

Officers responded to a dumpster fire in the 100 block of North Jefferson.

Officer respond to a complaint of several disorderly juveniles outside the city pool. Charges are pending.

Officer responded to a complaint of a disorderly juvenile in the 500 block of East D Street.

Aug. 2 — Officers checked a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Eisenhower.

Report of vandalism at the fairgrounds.

Aug. 3 — Dog complaint in the 300 block of West B Street.

Officer assisted with a funeral escort.

Officer responded to a prowler complaint on Willow Road.

Aug. 4 — Officer assisted the ambulance in the 200 block of South Madison.

Officer assisted with a fire in Industrial Park.

911 disconnect in the 100 of South Main.

Aug. 5 — Officer checked a suspicious person in the 600 block of North Ash.

Officer checked a suspicious person in the park.

Officer received harassment complaints from two separate parties.

Officer checked a complaint of suspicious activity in Hillsboro Heights.

Aug. 6 — Motorist assist at Ash and U.S. 56.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 312 N. Birch. A 57-year-old Halstead woman reported she had been battered at that address earlier in the day. This case is still under investigation and charges are pending.

On Aug. 1, Darcy Unrau of Lehigh, driving a 1990 Chevrolet pickup, was backing out of a residential driveway at 320 South Cedar. His vehicle struck a 1997 Chevrolet Malibu registered to Kelsie and Jeanne Penner which was parked across the street on Cedar. No injuries were reported.
