Hillsboro police: Driver arrested for revoked license

Officer Michael Fisher investigated a two-vehicle accident on D Street on July 7. Jericho Peppiatt of Canton, driving a 1988 Honda, was eastbound in the left lane. Vince Nikkel of Hillsboro, driving a Chrysler LeBaron, was eastbound in the right lane. Peppiatt did not see the Nikkel vehicle and attempted to change from the left lane to the right lane hitting the Nikkel vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Officer Fisher investigated a one-vehicle accident July 8 at the sports complex. Chelsey D'Albini, driving a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, was backing out of a parking lot and hit a transformer. The Tahoe is registered to Dan D'Abini of Hillsboro. No injuries were reported.

Officer David Funk investigated a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of the post office. Dwayne Reusser of Hillsboro, driving a 2000 Chevrolet, was backing west out of a parking space when the left rear of his vehicle hit the left rear of a parked vehicle. The parked vehicle is registered to Flora Washburn of Hillsboro. No injuries were reported.

On July 14, Officer Chad Funk witnessed a suspect, who had a revoked driver's license, driving a vehicle in Hillsboro. The 22-year-old male suspect was arrested and transported to Marion County Jail.
