HMS girls lose to Collegiate
Wichita Collegiate made a clean sweep of the Hillsboro Middle School basketball teams last Thursday at Collegiate.
The eighth grade girls lost 34-14. Scorers were Bobbi Carlson with six points; Audrey Weinbrenner, Rachelle Goldsby, and Jessica Klose, two each; and Amanda Faber and Amanda Bina, one each.
The seventh girls lost 37-11. Scorers were Jet Skiles with three points; and Tiffany Rooker, Sarah Heidel, Candace Ediger, and Cassie Kroeker, two each.
The C-team lost 26-24. Scorers were Kassi Luthi with 10 points; Courtney Fast, six; and Corissa Bartel, Anna Woelk, and Jessica Elliot, two each.
Monday's games at Smoky Valley were canceled and will not be rescheduled. The girls play Ellinwood at home today. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
