Ida Frantz
Ida Frantz, 89, Hillsboro died June 7, 2005, in Hillsboro.
Born Jan. 16, 1917, in Tampa, she was the daughter of David and Anna (Schwemmer) Senner. On May 9, 1935, she married Abe Frantz in Tampa. He died in 1966.
She was a homemaker and a member of Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church.
She also was preceded in death by her son Gary in 1999.
Survivors include sons, Vernon Frantz of Rose Hill, Lauren Frantz of Wichita, and Mike Frantz of Elgin, Ill.; brothers, Larry Senner of Abilene; sisters, Anna Mae Goertz of Durham and Jeanette Schimming of Herington; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. June 9 at Jost Funeral Home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 11, at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Mike Frantz officiating. Burial will be at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery in Hillsboro.
A memorial has been established with Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church.
