Irene Campbell
Irene Campbell, 82, died April 11, 2006, at the Catholic Care Center, Wichita.
Born Nov. 11, 1923, at the family farm two miles south of Peabody, she was the daughter of Roy and Frances (Slater) Ulsh.
On April 16, 1950, she married George Campbell. The couple had three children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Lawrence.
Survivors include a son, Marc Campbell of Wichita; two daughters, Priscilla Tiger of Owasso, Okla., and Phyllis Hasty of Ashland; sister, Maxine Ulsh of Newton; brother, Irvin Ulsh of Newton; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, Wichita.
Burial was in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
Memorial funds have been established with the church or Trinity Academy's future football program.
