Jantz, Klein are married July 10 at First Mennonite Church years ago
Becky Jantz of Hillsboro and Michael Klein of Durham were married July 10, 2004, at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Stan Bohn and Eric Schrag officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Judy Jantz of Hillsboro and the groom is the son of Bob and LaDonna Klein of rural Durham.
The bride wore a white satin halter a-line dress with a satin flower attached at the waist and a sweep train. Her tiara holding the veil was made of pearls, crystals, and flowers. She wore a necklace, bracelet, and earrings custom-made for her by the groom's sister, Tracine.
She carried a mixture of star of Bethlem, daisies, thistle, delphenium, and Queen Anne's lace.
Matron of honor was Erin Bartel of Hillsboro. Bridesmaids were Amy Richards of Hillsboro, Erica Stevens of Harper, Kara Bartell of Hesston, and Amber Jost of Hillsboro.
Best man was Lance Klein of Manhattan. Groomsmen were Ryan Bartel of Overland Park, Oral Saulters of Abilene, and Matt Esau of Hillsboro.
Musicians were a string quartet from Newton and Ryan O'Reily, guitar and vocals.
Ushers were Kevin Jantz of Portland, Ore., Ross Bielefeld of Lawrence, and Brad Richards of Hillsboro.
Lindsey Penner of Olathe and Julie Marsh of Hillsboro were gift book attendants.
Flower girl was Addie Berns of Tampa and ring bearer was Seth Bielefeld of Peabody.
A reception was held in fellowship hall following the reception. Jim and Mary Regier of Hillsboro were host and hostess.
Reception attendants were Sue Jantz of Portland, Ore., Rhoda Rafaelsen of McPherson, Susan Jantz of Abilene, and Carol Hanschu of Lost Springs.
The bride graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2001 and expects to graduate with a degree in nursing in May 2005 from Bethel College in North Newton.
The groom graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1999 and Bethel College in 2003 with a degree in psychology and clinical and counseling certification. He works at Via-Christi in Wichita in research.
After a honeymoon to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple are at home in Hillsboro.
