Jost to be honored on 90th birthday years ago
Harold Jost
The children of Harold and the late Marie Jost will host an open house for Harold's 90th birthday from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 31 at 301 E. Grand Ave., Hillsboro. Friends and relatives are invited. The family requests no gifts.
He was born Oct. 30, 1914. He grew up on the farm in rural Hillsboro and has been a lifetime Hillsboro area resident.
He served as a county commissioner for eight years and as Hillsboro city clerk for more than 28 years.
He has four children, Howard and Shanti Jost of Calcutta, India, Loren and Kate Jost of Riverton, Wyo., Annette and Wayne Albrecht of Richardson, Texas, and Christine and Sidney Harms of San Mateo, Calif. He has nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
