Jost, Weibert exchange wedding vows

Elizabeth Jost of Newton and Nicholas Weibert of Hillsboro were married Nov. 24, 2001, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion. Rev. Vern Bowers of Marion officiated the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Clint and Diana Jost of Burdick and Brenda and Ron Brown of Hillsboro and Dave Weibert of Wichita.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a champagne ivory A-line gown with a chapel length train. The bodice and hemline were accented with beading. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of terra cotta roses.

Matron of honor was Emily Fast of Leavenworth.

Serving as bridesmaids were Elisabeth McAfee of Liberal and Kendra Kuhlman of Boston, Mass.

Flower girl was Madeline Brown of Hillsboro.

Best man was Ryan Peters of Hillsboro.

Groomsmen were Monte Wedel of Roxbury and Jeremy Duerksen of Hillsboro.

Ringbearer was Brome Stahly of Newton.

Ushers were James and John Jost, both of Manhattan, and Wade Weibert of Hillsboro.

Guest book attendant was Shelly Weibert of Newton.

Gift attendants were Rachel Goertz of Nebraska and Gina Babka of Oklahoma.

Candlelighters were Travis Larson of Hutchinson and Brock Kuhlman of Illinois.

Organist was Anita Brookens of Marion, and vocalist was Sandra Garrard of Lincolnville.

A reception was held at the Marion VFW with Ron and Lisa Orsah of Newton serving as host and hostess.

Reception attendants were Jamie Peters of Hillsboro, Shannon Norton of Wichita, and Corey Sader of Salina.

The bride is a teacher at Newton High School. She is a graduate of Herington High School and Kansas State University.

The groom works at Wildcat Cattle Company and is a graduate of Hillsboro High School.

After a honeymoon in San Antonio, Texas, the couple reside in Goessel.
