Josts to celebrate 60th anniversary years ago
Harold and Marie (Franz) Jost of Hillsboro will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 4, in the Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church Fellowship Hall, 610 S. Main in Hillsboro.
The couple was married April 25, 1943, in the Mennonite Brethren Church in Buhler.
Hosting the event will be their children: Howard and Shanti Jost of Calcutta, India; Loren and Katie Jost of Riverton, Wyo.; Annette and Wayne Albrecht of Richardson, Texas; and Christine and Sid Harms of San Mateo, Calif. They also have 14 grandchildren who plan to be present for the occasion.
Friends and family are invited to the open house.
The couple requests no gifts.
