Joy of Art is retirement topic
Susan Kruger, Hesston, will present "Finding the Joy of Art in the Golden Years" at 10 a.m. Monday at the 60+ Learning in Retirement Program in Wohlgemuth Music Education Center at Tabor College.
The lobby will be transformed into an art gallery with works in various media.
The late Hillsboro artists Ruby Patton, Marlys Penner, and Emma Flaming, as well as living local artists "Doc" George Ens and LeOra Grunau, will have works on display.
First-time visitors will be admitted free of charge. Older adults are invited to attend. Cost is $4 a session, $15 per person or $28 per couple a semester.
Registration and discount lunch cards will be available at the door.
