Kenneth Dole

Kenneth George Dole, 88, of Harrisonville, Mo., died April 6, 2002, at Camden Health Center in Harrisonville.

Born Aug. 9, 1913, in Hillsboro, he was the son of John Alexander Logan and Anna Marie (Roesell) Dole. He married Mary Edna Brown on Nov. 4, 1934, in Hillsboro.

He graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1932. He was employed as a mechanic for Boeing Airplane Company in Wichita until his retirement in 1975. He was a former member of the Assembly of God Church in Emporia and held almost every office in the Assembly of God churches for 58 years.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing, woodworking and watching sports. He moved from Emporia to Harrisonville in 1999.

Survivors include his wife of the home; son, Terry A. Dole of Dewey, Ariz.; daughters, Sharon S. Fink and Margaret A. King both of Belton, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Francis Dole of Concord, Calif.; and sisters, Betty Henderson of Irvine, Calif., and Daylene Canfield of Brinnon, Wash.

Memorial services will be held April 12 at the Colonial Presbyterian Church in Kansas City, Mo., with Pastor Philip J. Truesdale officiating.

A memorial has been established at Twin Lakes Hospice in Clinton, Mo.
