Lady Tomahawks split two games

Peabody-Junior High Lady Tomahawks spilt two games this past week to open the season.

PBJH fell to Remington 38-33, and defeated Canton-Galva, 49-6.

Felicia Pohlman led the Lady Tomahawks with 24 points in the two contests.

Other scorers in the games were: Julie Wedel 18, Paige Barnes 12, Danielle Savage 11, Lauren Pickens eight, Traylee Woodruff seven, and Heather Brooks two.

Woodruff led the team with nine steals and Wedel was the leader with 14 rebounds.

The Lady Tomahawks reserves are undefeated with victories against Remington, 32-18, and Canton-Galva, 32-10.

Pickens claimed high point honors with 32 during the two-game span.

Other scorers were: Brooks, 10, Anna Garcia six, Kaitlyn Preheim six, Michaela Methvin four, Shelby Elliott four, Austin Jost two, and Taylor Ensminger two.
