Larry C. Jost
Larry C. Jost, 85, of Hillsboro, died Jan. 21, 2005, at Hillsboro.
He was born Sept. 28, 1919, in McPherson, to George S. and Elizabeth (Schroeder) Jost.
On Aug. 14, 1940, he married Linda Heinze in Hillsboro. She predeceased him in 1996.
He was a farmer and a stockman. He was also a member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
Survivors include daughters, Karen and Melvin Enns of Kingsburg, Calif., Connie and Gene Schimpf of Black Mountain, N.C., and Lucinda and Willis Wohlgemuth of Claremore, Okla.; brothers, Marvin Jost of Hillsboro, LeRoy Jost of Henderson, Neb., and Dean Jost of Aurora, Neb.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Dave Plett officiating.
Burial was at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, Hillsboro.
Memorials have been established with Tabor College or Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church building fund.
