LaWanda D. Banman
LaWanda D. Banman, 80, of Goessel died Nov. 11, 2004.
Born May 13, 1924, in Newton, she was the daughter of Jacob S. and Pauline (Unruh) Goertzen.
Sept. 9, 1947, she married Earl Banman at Goessel. He preceded her in death.
She lived in the Goessel area until 1947 when she moved to Lehigh, where she lived until returning to Goessel in 2001.
She was a member of Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in Goessel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, and brother, Ernest.
Survivors include her son, Alvin of Lehigh; daughter, Connie Bullinger of Canton; and two grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church near Goessel with Rev. Mark Wiens and Rev. Lee Suderman officiating. There will be a private burial service at Alexanderwohl Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with Bethesda Home and Central Homecare and Hospice.
