Legacy Park: Windsor recognized as volunteer of month
October was a month filled with crafts for the residents' tables and placemats. Toilet paper pumpkins also were made.
It is time to recognize a volunteer who devotes so much time with us. Donna Windsor comes in each Friday and shares devotions. This is a wonderful experience for the residents. Donna has been with us for 10 years.
Family and friends of our residents were treated Oct. 7 to a night of bingo with white elephant gifts.
Bennie Holtsclaw of Cedar Point entertained Oct. 13. Everyone enjoyed his beautiful voice and guitar playing.
Legacy Park hosted the Peabody senior potluck Oct. 18. The activity room was full of good food and lots of people. Patty Atchison of Marion provided entertainment by playing the autoharp and singing.
The Sweet Adelines had to postpone their Oct. 27 visit. They will be here at 7 p.m. Thursday. Everyone is welcome.
Halloween night we hosted a night of safe trick-or-treating for kids. Residents went downstairs and handed out candy to the little ghosts and goblins.
