LETTERS: Senior center grant appreciated
To the Editor:
The Hillsboro Senior Center was a recipient of a grant from Hillsboro Community Foundation.
The center is appreciative of this grant because it will permit them to repair the roof which was beginning to leak at unexpected places. Some of the funds also will be used to paint or replace damaged ceiling tiles.
The chairman of the center's board of directors commented at the reception that this grant was a godsend since they couldn't foresee another source for such funds at this time.
