LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Looking for Emporia alumni
To the Editor:
I am a fourth grade student at Mary Herbert Elementary School in Emporia, Kansas. At the end of this school year Mary Herbert is closing down as an elementary school after 73 years. We are trying to contact all Mary Herbert alumni of a special day we have planned.
On April 24, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. we are going to have a "Farewell Day." Alumni and friends will have a last chance to go through our building reminiscing of days gone by.
We hope to see you.
