Local residents celebrate birthdays

Neva Fast from Houston, Texas, spent the weekend with her mother Bonnie Fast. Neva was en route to Oak Park, Calif., where she teaches school. On Sunday, Neva and Bonnie were guests for a barbecue at Bonnie's nephew Dr. Rob and Jennifer Epp in Hutchinson.
On Monday, Aug. 23, Bob Delk and Steve Hanneman attended funeral services for Lloyd Delk at George Town, Texas.
Wayne and Carol Ollenburger, Gerald and Neil Ollenburger attained a hamburger fry for Ollenburger's grandson's, Austin Flores, eighth birthday in Wichita Sunday evening. Jessie Ollenburger and J.C. of Wichita were also guests.
Loretta Paxton of Wichita spent Tuesday with her parents Elgin and Rubena Bartel of rural Hillsboro.
Sheila Nuss and Donna Diener were honored guests for lunch to celebrate their birthdays on Wednesday at Olde Towne. Others there were Carol Ollenburger, Jane Miller, Mary Lancaster, Betty Meier, Virginia Fadenrecht, Connie Wiens, Valorie Hampton, Marcella Mohn, Arlene Pankratz, and Doris David.
Paul and Arlene Pankratz hosted a hamburger fry for their daughter's, Donna Diener, birthday on Saturday evening. Guests were Donna, Tim and Marissa Diener of Hillsboro; Jim and Merna Hamm, Sarah, Lucas, and Morganne of Tampa; and Ken Pankratz of Durham.
