Local residents host Thanksgiving guests

Mandi Abernathy and Emily from Colorado arrived at her grandmother's, Pauline Winter, on Monday. Her husband left for a tour of duty in Iraq and Mandi and Emily will be living in Hillsboro while he is gone. Pauline, Mandi, and Emily were Thanksgiving Day dinner guests at the home of Terry and Janet Winter in Wichita.
Edwin and Alice Winter had Thanksgiving dinner for their family on Thanksgiving Day. Most of the family were present.
Mr. and Mrs. Malvin Schmidt of rural Hillsboro and Jerry Schmidt from Salina were Thanksgiving Day dinner guests at their daughter Malvina Heinrichs and family in Tulsa, Okla.
Saturday guests at the Virgil Oblanders and their house guest Wendy Daniel from England were Georgie Medley and Matt and Nicole Medley from Liberty, Mo., Judy Dunn from Salina, and Jim Peters of Hillsboro. Sunday guests were Chris and Melissa Oblander and Harley from Wichita. Wendy left for her home in England on Monday.
Thanksgiving Day dinner guests at Betty Medleys were Freida Birkle of Hillsboro, Jennifer Medley and children from Topeka, Rick and Rhonda Medley and family from Galva, and Chris and Denise Kostelac and children from Kansas City.
House guests at the Paul Pankratzes' the past week were Jeff and Jennifer Price and Austin from Denver, Colo., and Holly Fessenden from Oklahoma City, Okla. Additional guests during the week were David and Sherilyn Kadel from Randall, Ken Pankratz from Durham, the Tim Diener family of Hillsboro, Kent Nickols from Eureka, and Richard and Garmine Hall and baby from Augusta.
