Local students get K-State scholarships
More than 4,000 students at Kansas State University are scholarship recipients for the 2002-2003 school year.
The following K-State students, all enrolled as of Oct. 15, are scholarship recipients: Goessel — Kalena Renee Schroeder, $1,250, The Arts and Sciences Fund for Excellence and $300, The Jo Harriett Hofsess Popkins Scholarship.
Hillsboro — Laci Jo Alvarez, $850, The ConAgra Foundation Scholarship and $550, The William and Mary Heaton Memorial Student Aid Fund; Christopher Brent Coryea, $1,500, The Sprint Scholarship in Management Information Systems; Emily Nicole Diener, $1,070, The Robert W. Janzen Scholarship and $1,000, The Tim Lim Undergraduate Scholarship in Agriculture; Shawn Lyn Edwards, $2,000, The Coonrod Memorial Construction Scholarship; Carmelita Evangelina Goossen, $500, The Scott S.
