Lovella Adrian

Lovella Marie Adrian, 76, of Buhler died July 10, 2002, at Hutchinson Hospital in Hutchinson.

Born Aug. 14, 1925, in Harvey County, she was the daughter of Paul G. and Justina (Harder) Martens. She was a lifetime resident of Buhler.

On Aug. 17, 1943, she married LaVerne Adrian in Buhler. He survives.

She owned and operated the Buhler Coupon Service for 20 years and founded Adrians A to Z in 1983.

She was a member of the Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church, the Friendship Circle, and Buhler Chamber of Commerce.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Harold Martens and Edwin Martens.

Survivors include her husband; son, Jack and wife Vicki of Buhler; daughters, Paula Hill of Dallas, Texas, and Vicki and husband Ken Stobbe of Newton; sisters, Agnes LaGree of Wichita and Ethel Pauline Watson of Springfield, Mo.; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Martens of Hesston and Martha Witt of Halstead; and grandchildren, Shawn Stobbe and Tina Stobbe of Newton, Chris Hill of Dallas, Texas, and Josh Adrian and Jenny Adrian of Buhler.

Services were held July 16 at Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church in Buhler with Pastors Nick Rempel and Brent Warkentin presiding. Burial was at Buhler Municipal Cemetery.

A memorial has been established with Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church Camp Scholarship Fund.
