Lucille Prieb
Lucille D. Prieb, 84, of Hillsboro, died Nov. 24, 2007, at Newton Medical Center.
Born April 14, 1923, at Maywood, Ill., she was the daughter of Bernard and Gunde (Groening) Pauls.
On June 3, 1945, she married Wesley J. Prieb at Lehigh. He died in 1997.
She was a librarian assistant and member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Gordon and Mary Prieb of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Robert and Rhonda Prieb of Hesston; two daughters and their husbands, Judy and Keith Harder of Hillsboro and Carolyn and Bob Backis of Chicago, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with Pastor Dave Plett officiating. Burial was in Hillsboro MB Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with Tabor College, Hillsboro.
