Many projects accomplished at Tabor Tool Time

Approximately 50 alumni, friends, parents, and current students of Tabor College joined in the effort to beautify the campus during the ninth annual Tool Time held Friday and Saturday, July 16 and 17.

Volunteers painted residence hall trim in the Men's Quad, landscaped outside of Schlichting Center, sheetrocked various rooms in two residence halls, cleaned the library, and trimmed trees.

Steve Berg, director of alumni and Tool Time coordinator, said it was gratifying to see so many volunteers with various Tabor connections rally together on these projects.

"We greatly appreciate those who come each year to donate their time and gifts to Tool Time," he said. "There's value in having people of all ages and backgrounds work side by side on various projects because many relationships are formed throughout the weekend."
