Marie Jost
Marie Jost, 89, of Hillsboro died May 10, 2002, at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.
Born Aug. 27, 1912, at Inman, she was the daughter of G.D. and Lena (Klaassen) Ensz.
On March 7, 1937, in Inman, she married Irvin L. Jost. He died in 1984.
She was a homemaker and a member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
Survivors include son Gerald Jost of Newton; daughters, Shirley Ratzlaff of Peabody, and Sharon Schroeder of Broken Arrow, Okla.; brothers, Arnold Ensz and Elmer Ensz; sisters, Ruth Jost and Irene Sullivan; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Monday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with Pastor Dave Plett officiating. Burial was at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with Mennonite Central Committee.
