Marjorie Collins
Marjorie E. Collins, 93, died June 30, 2006, at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.
Born Dec. 1, 1912, at Simpson, she was the daughter of Charles and Martha (Darrough) Pfeifer.
On April 26, 1948, she married James Collins at Beloit.
She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant son, Eldon Wayne Carlton.
Survivors include a son, Wesley D. Carlton of Greensburg; two daughters, Rosemary Freeman of Hillsboro and Wanda Barnes of Centennial, Colo.; 26 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro, with Pastor Wesley Carlton officiating.
Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Jamestown.
A memorial fund has been established with Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.
