Milton news: 20th Century Club meets at Florence years ago

Lois Sayers picked up Sherol Nightengale and Joyce Kyle Monday to join other 20th Century Club members at Town and Country Café.
Bonnie Plummer left Friday morning for Norton to be with her mother, Florence Lambert who is a patient in the hospital. We wish her well. Bonnie returned home Sunday evening.
Marvin and Sherol attended Roger Nightengale's baseball game Thursday evening at El Dorado.
Nathan and Ella Koehn were Sunday dinner guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee.
Joyce Kyle attended the First Mennonite senior fellowship supper Wednesday evening at the home of Mary Langenegger. Twenty-one attended.
Kathleen Brenzikofer and Joyce Kyle attended the Marion County senior citizens board meeting Friday at Lincolnville. They went to Hillsboro Saturday to attend the retirement party for Connee Willis.
Joyce went to Marion Thursday on business and called on Roseva McLinden at Marion Assisted Living.

Al and Bonnie Plummer left Friday for Nixa, Mo., to spend Easter weekend at the home of Martin and Kayme Voelker, Alyson and Abby. The girls enjoyed an Easter egg hunt Saturday among 2,000 children hunting for 80,000 eggs. The Plummers returned home Sunday.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers and Bruce Sayers, Megan and Jessica had Easter dinner at the home of Sandy Sayers at El Dorado. Mary Archer of Cottonwood Falls joined them. Lawrence and Lois went Monday to Cottonwood Falls to visit Mary.
Easter dinner guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee were Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale had Easter dinner at the home of Mitch and Cathy Foote at Manhattan. Other guests were Brandon and Kristen Wilds of Manhattan and Jim and Linda Hess, Allie and Amelia of Kearney, Mo. Allie and Amelia came home with Marvin and Sherol. They attended Roger Nightengale's baseball game Monday evening at El Dorado. The Nightengales took Allie and Amelia Tuesday to Topeka.
Mary and Gary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle met Archie and Maryellen Stenzel of Marion Wednesday morning at Burns Café for breakfast.
Joyce Kyle had a great Easter day. She attended sunrise services and a breakfast at Burns Methodist Church, attended regular church service, and was a dinner guest at the home of Bob and Becky Kyle, Brody and Braxton. Other guests were Evelyn Beard of Wichita, Glenn and Betty Kyle, and Dan and Robin Kyle.
Joyce went to Grandpa Gehring's farm that evening and met Jim and Beulah Gehring, Jim Gehring Jr. and Tyler, Jim, Helen, and Cole Schroeder, Charles and Bonnie Johnson, Desert and Laken, John and Rhonda Schrock, Morgan and Kaitlyn, Mary Langenegger, and Greg and Zeola Langenegger.
Joyce had a call from her grandson, Chris Kyle at Alpine, Calif., telling her she had a new great-granddaughter, McKenna Rae. Chris left Monday for Iraq.
Kevin and Jody Swarey have a new baby daughter, Lauren Elizabeth, born Monday night.
Luana Isaac and Rose Forgy, Melissa and Ryan left Friday afternoon for Rich Hill, Mo. They were guests of Jim and Hazel Smith, a brother of Luana and uncle of Rose. They enjoyed boating and visiting, then returned home Monday.
