Milton news: Joyce Kyle enjoys great-grandson

Wanda Koehn took Joyce Kyle Friday morning to the airport at Wichita. Joyce went to San Diego, Calif., to see her grandson and family, Chris, Taya, and Colton Kyle. It was the first time Joyce had seen her great-grandson who is 18 months old. They all took a long walk Saturday then went to Julian, Calif., to tour several craft shops. They were guests that evening at a potluck dinner of friends, Roy and Heather Gumarang, Britany and Brandon. They went to Coronado Sunday and toured the Hotel del Coronado, the largest wooden hotel in the world. The rest of the time was spent playing with Colton. Joyce returned Monday morning where Gary Langenegger picked her up at the airport.

Marvin Nightengale attended Roger Nightengale's ball game Friday at Augusta. Sherol was sick and could not attend.

Al and Bonnie Plummer went Sunday afternoon to El Dorado to grandson Austin Bidwell's Blue and Gold banquet. He advanced from Webelos to Boy Scouts.

Lois Sayer's sister, Mary Archer of Cottonwood Falls and her daughter, Deby Cain of Fayetville, N.C., were Friday evening callers of the Sayers.

Nathan and Ella Koehn were Sunday dinner guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee.
