Milton news: Plummers attend Veterans Day parade

Shelby Plummer of Lake Perry was a Friday overnight guest of her parents, Al and Bonnie Plummer. Shelby and Bonnie went Saturday to El Dorado to watch the Veterans Day parade. The Plummers' grandson, Austin, a Cub Scout, carried the banner in front of the parade, and grandson, Draven marched with the kindergarten class.

Kim Gaines of Madison and Dusty Gaines of Wichita were weekend guests of Ronnie and Patti Gaines. They joined other relatives and friends Sunday at the home of Herb and Melinda Gaines for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner.

Bill and Marie Clark and Gordon and Joan Clark of El Dorado called Friday on Marvin and Sherol Nightengale. The Nightengales went Monday evening to El Dorado to watch grandson, Casey play basketball.

Wendell and Carmella Koehn and Katrina of Cimmaron were Sunday overnight guests of Rose Forgy, Melissa and Ryan. After church Sunday evening Luana Isaac and Kevin and Janarro Jantz, Kaylee, Shauna, and Jesse came to visit and have refreshments. Launa joined them Monday morning for breakfast.

Judy Koehn and Rose Forgy attended a dog seminar Saturday at Fredonia.

Bruce Sayers, Megan and Jessica left Friday for Holt Summit, Mo., to visit Bruce's daughter and family, Don and Sarah Hunt and Taylor. They returned Sunday evening. They went to Florence Thursday evening to see baby Autumn Padgett.

Sandy Sayers of El Dorado called Wednesday on her parents, Lawrence and Lois. Lois and Sandy went Saturday to Wichita. They went to Cottonwood Falls Tuesday and enjoyed lunch with Lois' sister, Mary Archer.

Mary and Gary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle had breakfast Wednesday morning with Archie and Maryellen Stenzel of Marion at Burns Café. It was a pre-celebration of Joyce's birthday. She received lots of calls and cards.

Jim Gehring of Moundridge stopped Thursday afternoon at the home of Joyce Kyle.

Kathleen Brenzikofer, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle attended the Cassoday church supper and bazaar Saturday evening.
