Moore named softball coach at Tabor
Jim Moore has joined the staff and faculty of Tabor College as head softball coach, physical education department instructor and athletic training assistant.
Currently a resident of Lancaster, Pa., Moore is a graduate of Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna, Minn., and the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Ala. He earned his athletic training certification in February 2001. Previous work experience includes teaching and coaching at the high-school level for 19 years and covering games as the athletic trainer for Lancaster Bible College.
"We are pleased to have Jim Moore join the physical education and athletic departments because of his experience in Christian education and his high standards for personal and professional life," said Don Brubacher, athletic director at Tabor.
"He will add a great deal to the athletic training program, the physical education program and will also take over our growing women's softball program. We are pleased to have Jim join our staff, and look forward to working with him."
