Morning Star welcomes Schmidts

Harry and Verna Decker returned home Tuesday after spending the Easter weekend visiting relatives at Freeman, So. Dakota.

The Duerksen post-Easter get-together was hosted Saturday evening by Ron and Dora Unruh. Those that enjoyed a basket supper were the hosts, Rudolf and Eulalia Schroeder, Milt and Alice Duerksen, Marvin and Rosalie Duerksen and Sandy, Carol Duerksen and Maynard Knepp, Larry and Nancy Schroeder, Scott, Stacey, and Lance, Brendan and Susan Nafziger and Brooke, Jim and Brenda Enns and Darren, Lon and Deb Hiebert and Matthew, Mark Unruh, Warren and Anita Unruh and Nathan and Kyle, David Enns and Ashley Claassen.

On Sunday the Morning Star Church had a welcome supper and fellowship together to welcome Troy and Sonja Schmidt and family to the church and community.

Warren and Anita Unruh and Nathan and Kyle were Sunday guests of Vi Klassen for a post-Easter family dinner.

Janine Rivera came home from the hospital on Sunday after spending almost three weeks in the hospital. The Ransom Wiebes and the Jason Wiebes took supper to their home Monday to enjoy together. Many others have also been helping out with meals.

Ken and Sandy Wiebe were Sunday dinner guests of Ken's cousins, the Virgil Wiebes at Inman.

Those who enjoyed a post-Easter dinner Sunday at the Harry Rhodes home were the Cyrus Wedel family, the Howard Wedel family, the Darrel Rhodes family, and the Harry Rhodes family.

Wendell and Linda Wedel spent a week over Easter in California. They were visiting their daughter Maria and her husband.

Correction: The item in last week's Northwest of Durham should read Marcel Unruh and not Marcella Unruh who went to Tennessee with Tim Koehn to visit Sara Koehn.
